By using FreeMCServers.org ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use FreeMCServers.org. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement. Users under 18 should have parental consent.
2. Account Responsibilities
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
- You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
- One person or organization may not maintain more than one free account without prior written permission.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree NOT to use the Service to:
- Host content that is illegal, harmful, abusive, harassing, or violates any law
- Distribute malware, viruses, or other harmful software
- Conduct DDoS attacks, port scanning, or other network abuse
- Mine cryptocurrency of any kind
- Host pirated content or infringe intellectual property rights
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any system or data
- Resell or sublicense access to the Service without written permission
- Run bots, scrapers, or automated tools that place excessive load on our infrastructure
4. Free Tier Limitations
Free servers are subject to resource limits including RAM, storage, and player slots. Servers that are idle for an extended period may be paused or deleted after notice. We reserve the right to adjust free tier limits at any time.
5. Content Ownership
You retain ownership of any content you upload (worlds, plugins, configs). By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to host and serve it as part of providing the Service. We do not claim ownership over your Minecraft worlds or files.
6. Service Availability
We strive for high uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We are not liable for any downtime, data loss, or damages arising from use of the Service.
7. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms, with or without notice. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your servers and data will be permanently deleted within 30 days.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We disclaim all warranties including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, FreeMCServers.org shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
10. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. We will notify users of significant changes via email.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in the courts of competent jurisdiction.
