Can I Install Plugins and Mods on My Minecraft Server?

Yes — FreeMCServer.com fully supports plugins and mods through the built-in file manager in your server dashboard.

Plugins (Paper, Spigot, Bukkit)

If your server runs Paper, Spigot, or Bukkit, you can install any Bukkit-compatible plugin:

• Download a .jar file from Spigot, Modrinth, or BukkitDev
• Upload it to the /plugins folder via the File Manager in your dashboard
• Restart your server — the plugin will be loaded automatically

Mods (Forge, Fabric, NeoForge)

For modded servers, install mods the same way:

• Download .jar mod files from Modrinth or CurseForge
• Upload them to the /mods folder
• Ensure all players have the same mods installed on their client
